These resources are intended for the use of dietetic education program faculty and/or staff who are preparing for an accreditation review, members of the survey team, PDEP Accreditation Council and Steering Committee members, university administrators, and members of the public / others who have an interest in PDEP’s accreditation processes. 

Accreditation Standards 

The Accreditation Standards for Dietetic Education Programs in Canada were published in 2014. The standards are benchmarks that describe the minimum expectations of a program of study and provide the framework for periodic accreditation review.

Integrated Competencies for Dietetic Education and Practice (ICDEP)

The Integrated Competencies for Dietetic Education and Practice (ICDEP) were published in 2013 and are intended to delineate the entry-to-practice competencies for registered dietitians in Canada
